The call for entries into this year's Property Business Awards has gone out, to find the companies who are setting the standards in the property business in 2002. Already dozens of entries are flooding in - and the top three nominees in each category will be announced, and receive widespread publicity, on Wednesday February 20th.
There are eight categories which will celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals throughout the residential property industry: Best use of Technology, Best Training Provider, Customer Service Award, Best Industry Innovation Award, Best Marketing Campaign, Industry Service Awards - and two individual awards, for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, and Property Journalist of the Year.
Companies nominated for the first-ever awards should find their sales significantly increase - even if they are not awarded a top prize - according to business strategy expert Allan Pease, who hosts the ceremony and dinner at the Tower Thistle Hotel on February 26th.
"It is an established fact that companies nominated for an award benefit almost as much as those who actually win" says Pease; "Being nominated shows you've achieved excellence, and that's what gives customers confidence."
"The industry deserves recognition for the enormous efforts being made to push the boundaries of excellent customer service," says Nick Clark of Homebuyer events, organisers of the Awards, which are the only ones in the property industry. "The entire industry will have a lot to learn from all the companies who achieve nomination and we will be very proud to publicise their success."
The deadline for entries is February 13th 2002. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Show website www.propertybusinessshow.com or by e-mailing info@axistv.co.uk.
