With this partnership we can give these young people a stake in their future and also address the growing skills shortage within the building and construction industries."
The firm's employees will also be getting involved in fundraising. There are a number of activities planned the house builder will be promoting payroll giving to Barnardo’s.
Director of fundraising at Barnardo’s, Steve O’ Connor, said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Taylor Woodrow, and it will help so many of our disadvantaged young people."
"Taylor Woodrow is not only giving us a very generous cash donation but is also lending us its expertise and support, which will be invaluable to help us develop our skills programme. This is a perfect example of how corporations can really invest in the community and even train its future workforce."
A ‘certificate of appreciation’, to mark the partnership was presented to Taylor Woodrow at Barnardo’s Community Routes project in Dudley.
