The world’s only sea-borne private residential community has arrived in Guernsey as part of its European summer itinerary for 2004. This is the first time the ship has been in the UK since its launch in 2002. Since then it has travelled to Antarctica, South America, North America, The Caribbean and Australia.
Called The World the ship offers an extraordinary lifestyle ideally suited for those who live to travel. Residents may live pretty well permanently on the ship and enjoy all the comforts of living at home: your own books on the bookcase your own food cooked in your own kitchen with food brought from the on board market. All with an address that is certainly worldly - The World of ResidenSea.
But it’s not limited to residents – you can cruise with The World too.
The summer itinerary will include a selection of the most interesting and glamorous ports in Europe including Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Barcelona, St Tropez, Monte Carlo, Portofino, Sorrento, Venice, Dubrovnik, Mikonos - amongst others.
