Live the Dubai high life for less

Tuesday, November 29, 2005

With its opulent hotels and luxurious developments, Dubai is often overlooked by many buyers as being over budget. But a new timeshare scheme means that buyers can enjoy a lifetime of holidays at one of the world’s most exclusive holiday destinations for as little as £15,000.

In a lateral thesaurus, Dubai would probably be listed as an alternative word for luxury. Everything that even the most demanding of tastes would crave can be found in this captivating city.

From the white sandy beaches with clear turquoise sea, to the many delights on offer at the Burjaman Shopping Centre, it’s easy to understand why Dubai is fast becoming a Mecca for tourists.

But it’s not all about tourism. Oil was the engine that began Dubai's rapid development, though it now contributes to only 20% of GDP. But the country’s tax environment is such that it is emerging as a major economic centre, with many multi-national companies having now moved their head quarters there.

Jumeirah offers the best beaches in the whole of the City of Dubai, and therefore is the largest tourist attraction and location for visitors to stay. Offering the best views in the city, this location has relaxation, water sports and great shopping. In keeping with its popularity, this part of Dubai offers some of the best hotels in the city and houses the famous seven star hotel - "Burj al Arab".

And it’s in this area that timeshare is now being offered - on the world-renowned development of the Palm Jumeirah.

How is a timeshare in Dubai different to buying one elsewhere? Well the answer is simple…

The Palm isn’t a purpose built timeshare development. It is one of the world’s most luxurious owner-occupied developments and is a cut above most of the world’s five star holiday resorts. The amenities are unbeatable and the quality is second to none.

A private investor has bought the western side of the trunk and has decided to convert it into timeshares, thus, offering an affordable way to enjoy regular holidays in a millionaire’s environment, which would otherwise be out of reach.

Property prices for one-bedroom flats in The Palm Jumeirah start from £156,000.00. The same property sold as a timeshare starts at £14,999 for 99 years. This is a great holiday option and just one of the many reasons why Dubai’s popularity continues to grow and grow.
