UK investors should consider investing in India or China, argues Property Frontiers…
Marsha Lu of investment specialists Property Frontiers said that regulations meant that overseas investors might not be able to directly invest in assets in the two countries but that there were alternatives.
She said: "For the sake of easy access to the market, repatriation of funds et cetera, the stock exchange may be a very good way of making investments. There are many attractive investments offered by publicly-listed Chinese developers.
Property Frontiers reports that the growth of the Chinese economy has now exceeded ten per cent for four years in a row. It also said that property prices in the country had increased by around 22 per cent a year in major cities since 1997.
