British holidaymakers are increasingly travelling abroad in search of new experiences, according to an expert..
Claire Lilley recently stated: “Since people are taking foreign holidays more often than they used to, they now want to enjoy a broader range of activities. This is reflected in their choice of destination, with many heading to less-established destinations.
Ms Lilley continued: "Eastern Europe is still booming – places like Bulgaria are on the agenda a lot more. And since people are now going on about three or four holidays a year, they do not want to spend all that time lying on a beach. However, traditional locations such as Spain will always be popular choices for family holidays.
