Peter Ellis, chief executive of Foreign Currency Direct, recently commented: Owning a foreign property could be an excellent investment and setting up home outside the UK could have a number of positive consequences. For example, expatriates could enjoy the lifestyle enhancements that come with living in another country, along with the various financial benefits.
Mr Ellis added: “People who are considering a move abroad should find out as much as they can about their ideal location before packing their bags. We would urge Brits looking to relocate to research the local amenities and resources of their chosen destination thoroughly."
